2013 – My Personal Journey in Art Education

“Traveling against the flow has always challenged me and set a course for my research in art education that focuses on curriculum, assessment, and teacher education; art talent development; feminist issues; multicultural and global concerns; research, mentoring, and advocacy; and creativity. It appears that I have worn a number of different hats of an eclectic nature; however, all these represent concerns, that at the time I first practiced, researched, and wrote about them, were not popular and sometimes not acknowledged as matters of importance for the field of art education.”
